Ink

Printing coupons online can use up a lot of ink. Here are a few tips.

If you can set your printer to print Black Ink Only / Gray scale AND Fast Draft it will use less ink.

Watching the coupon print and stopping it before the advertisement prints by hitting the cancel button saves ink as well. This works for Bricks coupons. Just don't do that if you are printing at coupons.com because you might lose a coupon! And make sure you WATCH to see that the coupon has finished printing. Some coupons print at the top, middle or bottom. You don't want to loose it.

Refill you ink at Walgreens at Crosstown. It usually costs $14 to refill and they often put that on sale for either $10 or $7 so watch the weekly ad. The box they return your cartridge in usually comes with a 50% your next refill coupon so again...$7.

You can buy cartridges that have already been refilled at Office Max for less than the brand name usually costs. Our main printer takes HP 56 Black ink which costs between $25-30 but I can buy a refilled cartridge for only $18 at Office Max. Nice savings, I think.
